Out of Chaos: A Memoir was released in 2018 with Boyle & Dalton Publishers. Described by some readers as "a journey" or as "a train wreck" and "powerfully honest" -- it was a book I wrote because people told me to write my story.

Then, in the height of our Covid-19 Pandemic, I wrote People Helping People to share my experience of helping others as I had once been in need. Through my volunteering efforts, I was honored to be awarded by a community activist organization, local to me, as Community Service Leader of the Year, 2017.
Marie Conner, A Leading Lady: Her Life and Civic Leadership in a Bygone Era releases with Luminare Press in mid-February 2026! This rich historical biography is of an ordinary woman in twentieth century small-town America who did extraordinary things to help others, spearheading many causes, changing her community and its people for the better more and forever. I can’t wait for you to read it! Delve into her journey—and mine to write her true story, all on my Coming Soon page.
My other writing pieces have found homes in journals, magazines, anthologies, and other venues. Advocacy, personal strength, and humanitarianism are common threads in my writing. Immerse yourself in the uplifting true stories I bring to life in my books and other publications, some that you can read for free, linking from my Portfolio.
I make my home in the suburbs of northern Kentucky with two cats and several pet birds. My career in library work, with more than ten years at the public library in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, is my livelihood. Writing is my passion.
